Hours FAQ
- 01Hours can be counted from May 1st to April 30th!
- 02Not really! You must have a minimum of 10 in-person volunteer hours (not virtual), but other than that, just make sure you aren't getting paid for the hours or doing them for a family member.
- 03Just submit hours as you complete them! We do have recommended timelines for completing hours, but those are just guidelines! If you are on probation, you do have to meet regular hour goals.
- 04Yes! You can enter service hours for however long the meeting was.
- 05Of course! We love when our members are active in our school's community. You can also count hours completed with Key Club towards your NJHS/NHS totals.
- 06You are likely on probation if Epic paid your dues (meaning you were a member) in the previous year, but you did not serve 50 hours. You will receive an email if you are placed under probation and choose to be an official member. Honorary members cannot be placed on probation.
